About myself

I am a new author who has a passion for historical novels. Academically trained as an Economist, I spent over 30 years conducting research on social programs. You may be wondering whether an Economist could possibly write compelling novels and are about to click away from this page. Let me explain how I see these pursuits being complimentary. As an Economist I honed my attention to detail and the accuracy of information.  Theses skills also are critical for writing historical novels. I have combined my interest in history and dedication to meticulous research to craft compelling stories set in the past that are relevant to today’s conflicts to explore the forces that drive human behavior both then and now.

When I am not immersed in historical research and writing, I enjoy traveling, discovering new places and different cultures. This hobby allows me to gain new insights and inspiration for my writing, further enhancing the authenticity of my historical novels.  It was a story I was told while in Bermuda this summer that was the catalyst for my second book Glory, Gold, and Greed.
