At the Heart of My Historical Fiction are three Guiding Themes:
- History Isn’t Over
Although my historical fiction stories are set in the past, they speak directly to the present. The struggles for justice, equality, and dignity are ongoing—and history remind us how far we’ve come, and how far we still have to go. - Blending Fact with Personal Truth
I weave together real historical figures and imagined characters, grounding fiction in lived experience. Many of my characters carry pieces of my own story—or the stories of my family—making each narrative deeply personal and emotionally authentic. - Heroines Who Dare
At the center of every novel is a woman who refuses to stay silent. My heroines fight for the poor, the forgotten, and the marginalized. They believe in justice, speak truth to power, and hold fast to the hope that the world can be better—if we’re brave enough to change it.
I have published two books with Amazon, Gold, Glory and Greed and Back in Time. I also have a new book, Fighting for Crumbs, that is available starting on October 15th. Back in Time
A Modern Woman’s Journey in Medieval England
This is a story of survival. It is set in a tumultuous time period- the start of the Third Crusade. Despite challenges to his reign, Richard II left Britain immediately after his coronation to lead the Third Crusade. This power vacuum opens to door to sinister posturing among those who were politically relevant.

Glory, Gold, and Greed
and the Less Discussed Reasons for the American Revolution (2025)
Economic factors and a distain for tariffs were major drivers of the American Revolution. Several founding fathers made their fortunes through smuggling, ultimately leaving a trail of buried treasures up and down the Atlantic seaboard and in the Caribbean. Alicia Randolph becomes captivated by the old tale about her sea captain ancestor who supposedly hid treasure in Bermuda during the war. And so the hunt begins!
